Note
A tough, classic alpine climb of 3 pitches. Long and a bit heavy approach. Be aware of the overhanging snow on the top; if it looks dangerous you should do something else...don't make avalanches..

This waterfall usually holds longer in the spring, because it is laying in total shadow...
When you finish the route, you may walk up in a flat area and walk around the whole bowl to the right. Then you may walk down an obvious ridge which is not very steep, but you could use crampons anyway. Slide down on the snow. The route down takes about 1,5-2 hours.

Walk up on the left side of the small river/stream into the big bowl below the waterfall. This may be a heavy trip in deep snow, so you may use poles and snow shoes. If the stream is secure you may walk up the stream on ice or hard snow and save some energy. The approach takes 1-2,5 hours depending on the conditions.

- L1: Steep (WI4)
- L2: Less steep (WI2-3) with sections of snow (depends on conditions).
- L3: Go left in the end, make a stand on big stones on the top (WI2-4 depending on route)
Alternative, less steep route (WI3).
- L1: Traverse to the right, less steep (WI3).
- L2: Traverse left, some steeper sections in the beginning (WI3). Make stand after some snow sections.
